What actually is Plunge Party?
Plunge Party is the community we wish existed in San Francisco. Jared, moved here without knowing a single person. He starting jumping into The Bay and inviting anyone he met to join him. He joined and helped grow a cold plunge club to 300 people. In the summer of 2024 he wanted to take it one step further and create a space to bring people together outside of just "going out." Enter Plunge Party
How does it work?
You show up, meet some incredible people, hop in the cold plunge, hit the sauna, and hang out. You can go back and forth between the cold and heat as much as you want.
There’s music going, strangers turning into besties, and plenty of coffee and our favorite wellness brands to keep you buzzing. It’s part reset, part party—with a side of community you didn’t know you needed
Do I need to have cold plunge experience?
Nope! All levels welcome—from Wim Hof wannabes to “wait, how cold is it??” skeptics. You only go as long and deep as you’re ready for. No time requirements, no judgement, just a chance to jump out of your comfort zone.
Is this just about cold plunging?
Not at all. It's about community, connection, and doing something with incredible people who don’t feel like strangers for long. But life's too short not to do crazy stuff and meet incredible people. Cold plunging is just the catalyst.
Can I come alone?
YES. So many people do.
And most leave with new friends, a brunch invite, and at least one person they hugged after screaming together in 40°F water.
Do you guys do this in the rain?
Hell yeah. Rain or shine. You're going to get wet anyway—might as well make it a moment.
